It's getting ugly.
Reminiscent of the SLAPP law suits corporations use to silence environmentalists and consumer advocates, the thin-skinned right-wingnuts like Fox News who sued Al Franken over his use of the words 'fair and balanced' in the title of his new book, and Matt Groening, creator of "The Simpsons" because an episode of the TV cartoon program poked fun at Fox News. Now, the National Review Online columnist Daniel Luskin has threatened to sue popular Weblogger Atrios because of comments critical of Luskin readers posted his site.
It makes me wonder why these loud-mouthed bully boys can dish it out but not take it. Could it be they sense a change in the wind?
